Thesis & Graduation
The final requirement for the MA in EAAS is the preparation and submission of a Master's thesis, to be written and defended in English according to the guidelines below.
Final Thesis Requirements
The thesis must be written in English.
It must be prepared under the supervision of a Supervisor (Relatrice/Relatore).
A Co-supervisor (Correlatrice/Correlatore) must also be appointed to support the evaluation process.
The thesis should consist of approximately 60–90 pages.
It must demonstrate:
an original re-elaboration of a clearly defined topic;
critical engagement with a specific and up-to-date scholarly bibliography;
research and argumentation in line with accepted academic standards.
The thesis must include an abstract that conforms to international academic conventions.
Academic Supervision
The Supervisor (Relatrice/Relatore) must be a teaching staff member who holds a teaching position in a Scientific Disciplinary Sector (SSD) included in the student's own study plan.
The Co-supervisor (Correlatrice/Correlatore) assists in the evaluation of the thesis.
