NEW MEASURES
- Full exemption for meritorious students, including freshmen, with an ISEE declaration up to €14,000 (€1000 more than national requirements);
- Up to 20% reduction for students with an ISEE declaration up to € 40,000;
- Full exemption for all doctorate students;
- Elimination of all other taxes and costs, such as the graduation fee, except for additional requested services.
CONFIRMED MEASURES
- Bonus for meritorious students to be used for enrolment in the subsequent academic year;
- Full exemption for first-year students who score 100/100 on their diploma;
- Tuition fee reductions for first-year students who score 95/100 or better on their diploma;
- Special reductions for families with more than one sibling enrolled at Sapienza.

Foreign students who regularly reside in Italy and declare income, must complete an ISEE 2017 declaration for the right to university study at a CAF.
DEADLINES
Freshmen who graduated before 31st October 2019:
First Instalment + Regional Fees: 4th November 2019;
Second Instalment: 20st December 2019;
Third Instalment: 30th March 2019;
Freshmen who graduated between 1st November 2019 and 19th January 2020:
First Instalment + Second Instalment + Regional Fees: 30th January 2020;
Third Instalment: 30th March 2019;

PAY BASED ON YOUR ISEE
For students who do not fall into the benefits, Sapienza applies a model that allows each student to determine the amount of reduced fees compared to the ordinary measure exactly because of their ISEE value for the right to university study.
The Isee determines the indicator of the household's economic status and declares itself on Infostud at the time of printing the tax bulletin. The amount of fees is automatically calculated in Infostud according to the ISEE declared. We urge students to verify the correctness of the declared data because unjustified statements may incur in penal and administrative sanctions. The sanctions apply even if the amount declared is slightly different from the verified amount, because the law only provides for false or truthful statements, regardless of the extent of the difference.
All students (except those who choose "do not declare" option) are obliged to calculate the Isee 2019 at a CAF (Centro Assistenza Fiscale) or on line on the INPS website. The calculation of the Isee at the CAF is free of charge.
