German Literature and Critical Thought (6 CFU course)

2023-24 program of the Perspectives on Differences Laboratory of the Department of European, American and Intercultural Studies
This year's cycle concerns the different declinations of friendship between women as a factor of personal and collective transformation and self-determination, crucial for the history of women's movements and for reflections on the political practices of the present.
The Laboratory cycle as an AAF to obtain 6 credits (OTA), in the following ways:
- Attendance in the presence of at least 6 of the 8 meetings and recovery of the recording of meetings not attended; attendance must be active (participation in the debate in the second part of each meeting);
- Reading the materials provided for each meeting;
- Writing an essay (max. 30,000 characters) commenting and reflecting on the experience of the entire cycle, demonstrating not only the frequency of the meetings but also the critical reading of the materials.
The cycle will begin on November 10th . This year there will be at least two guidance and orientation meetings for students undertaking the AAF path, organized by the Laboratory.

OTA opportunity: accessible Shakespeare
Seminario Permanente di Studi Shakespeariani (SPSS) 2023-2024 seminars: Accessible Shakespeare.
A series of 6 seminars will be held from October to April at 4 pm in Sala Riunioni 2 (3rd floor, Marco Polo building), each featuring an expert in the field of Shakespeare and accessibility.

* December, Friday 15 - Alessandra Squeo (Università di Bari Aldo Moro)
* January, Tuesday 23 - Elena Di Giovanni (Università di Macerata) and Stefania Laura (Sovrintendenza Teatro alla Scala)
* February, Thursday 22 - Susan Bennett (University of Calgary, Canada)
* April, Thursday 11 - Pascale Aebischer (University of Exeter)
* April, Thursday 18 - Erin Sullivan (The Shakespeare Institute, University of Birmingham)
The titles and poster of the seminars are attached.
Attendance at the seminars (at least 5 out of 6) will award 3 CFU for Other Training Activities for students who also write a 2-page research paper at the end.
